SOCIAL & ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

The Company adheres to the regulations of Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies and Government Regulation Number 47 of 2012 concerning Social & Environmental Responsibility (TJSL). Additionally, the Company also complies with tax regulations that govern the deduction of CSR expenses from gross income. The amount of contributions deductible from gross income for one year is limited to not exceeding 5% of the net fiscal income of the previous year. The TJSL activities conducted by the company include Community Empowerment, Basic Needs Contributions, and Revitalization of Social and Public Facilities.

In 2015, SBI transformed into a legally incorporated business (PT – Limited Liability Company) and continued to grow by establishing new factories in Padang and Pekanbaru, the capital of Riau province, to meet market demand, following the company’s strategy to continuously expand through collaborations with new partners, B2B engagements, and the expansion of distribution channels in Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi.
